SENIOR FLOOD RISK CONSULTANT

Rate: £ 29 to £ 40 K (permanent) + Plus package
My client are a well known, highly successful Building Services Design Consultancy.
They are currently seeking a Senior Water Management Consultant to join their current team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to develop their career working within an award winning consultancy whilst working on a range of innovative and high profile projects.
Candidates are required to have an extensive knowledge of PPS25 and TAN15
coupled with first class report writing skills. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in delivering flood risk assessments and hold a good understanding of water management and conservation issues. Further requirements include competency with models such as TUFLOW, HECRAS, ISIS, WinDes, and use of FEH techniques.
A sound knowledge of SUDS concepts and design is required. Ideally candidates will have a good understanding of GIS software.
Typically duties will include; preparation of flood risk and EIA reports, project management, proposal writing and budgetary control, client liaison, supervision of junior staff and business development.
Candidates with a technical understanding of additional disciplines such as
Environmental Impact Assessment and an interest and experience of overseas work
are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should hold at least 5 years consultancy experience.
