FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Location: : Manchester - North West
Rate: £ 45 to £ 48 K (permanent) + Car, 25 days holiday, bonus, pension, medical
I am working on behalf of one of the countries leading Design and Build contractors, specialising in the delivery of cutting edge engineering solutions.
They operate from a number of offices throughout the UK and Europe, and work in a number of market sectors.
Due to their on going growth plans they are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to be based out of their Head office in Manchester.
You will be reporting directly to the Financial Director, and key responsibilities will be:
Leadership of the Management Accounts Team and Manchester Admin Team, ensuring the smooth running of its day to day operational performance.
the implementation of business/Financial systems.
Production of Monthly management accounts.
Manage the preparation of regular Financial Forecasts.
Work closely with the Financial Director in the preparation of the annual budget.
Be proactive in formalising recommendations and introducing improvements within the accounting function, promoting best practice, control and knowledge transfer.

Below are a few key skills that the ideal candidate will possess:
Ideally a fully qualified Chartered Accountant and/or CIMA Accredited
Very good knowledge of Windows Tools, spreadsheets software packages. Fluent in IS/IT in general.
A minimum of 8-10 years Management Accounting Experience
Confident of your ability to be a key decision maker.
